Elastomeric Devices
As a trusted and respected industry leader Baxter has been innovative in many different areas of healthcare. This is the case with Elastomeric Devices.
They are available in 3 distinct types:
1. Infusors (slower infusion flow rates)
2. Intermates (faster infusion flow rates)
3. Elastomeric coiled tube infusors (Jackson-Coiled Infusors) specialized slower infusion flow rates.
The Elastomeric Devices are designed to allow patients to safely, easily, and comfortably receive infused medications outside the hospital – freeing up hospital beds. They are generally used for infusion of medications at home, in long-term care facilities and in hospices.
