MULTI-12® is indicated for use as a supplement to parenteral nutrition for adults and children aged 11 and older. Its administration helps maintain plasma vitamin levels and helps prevent depletion of endogenous stores of vitamins and development of subsequent deficiency symptoms.1

MULTI-12/K1® Pediatric Injection (6461)
Multi-12/K1 Pediatric is indicated for use as a multiple vitamin supplement for infants and children up to 11 years of age. Its administration helps to maintain plasma vitamin levels and helps to prevent depletion of endogenous stores of the vitamins and development of subsequent deficiency symptoms.2
Vitamin B1 Injection 100mg/mL (8400)
Thiamine is used in the treatment and prevention of various thiamine deficiency syndromes including beriberi, Wernicke's encephalopathy syndrome, Korsakoff's syndrome, peripheral neuritis of pregnancy and neuritis associated with pellagra. Wernicke's encephalopathy syndrome and high output heart failure secondary to beriberi are considered acute emergencies requiring parenteral administration of thiamine.
Thiamine is also indicated in cardiovascular disease due to thiamine deficiency. This may be observed in the following persons or conditions: Chronic alcoholics, pregnant women, persons with gastrointestinal disorders, patients receiving total parenteral nutrition (TPN) and those whose diet is deficient for other reasons.
Vitamin K1 Injection 1mg/0.5mL (9100)
Vitamin K is indicated for the treatment and prevention of various coagulation disorders involving impaired formation of factors II, VII, IX, and X resulting from vitamin K deficiency or impairment of vitamin K activity, including hypoprothrombinemia due to oral anticoagulants, salicylates, and some antibiotics. 4
Patients receiving total parenteral nutrition (TPN); in malabsorption syndromes associated with pancreatic insufficiency (including cystic fibrosis), hepatic-biliary tract disease (obstructive jaundice internal biliary fistula), disease of the small intestine (celiac disease, tropical sprue, regional enteritis, ulcerative colitis, persistent diarrhea or dysentery, short bowel syndrome after extensive bowel resection); prolonged T-tube drainage; abetalipoproteinemia; infants receiving milk substitute formulas and those who are breast fed.4
