Mississauga, Ont. -
Baxter Canada, a leading medical products company, has been certified as a Great Place To Work® (GPTW) for the fourth year in a row by the Great Place to Work® Institute, a global authority on high-trust and high-performance workplace culture. This year, Baxter was listed as one of the Top 50 Best Workplaces™ with more than 1,000 employees working in Canada.
"To be recognized on the Top 50 list for the fourth year is an amazing accomplishment that reflects the efforts and dedication of our people leaders and employee committees," says James Teaff, President and General Manager, Baxter Canada. "Baxter Canada's workplace culture is built on brand pillars that cultivate an environment of mutual respect, equal opportunity, and entrepreneurial creativity. The honest opinions of our team are especially important to us and serve to guide the future of Baxter.”
The 2022 Best Workplaces™ in Canada list is compiled by the Great Place to Work® Institute. The competition process to be ranked on this list is employee-driven and represents multiple industries and sizes of organizations. Seventy-five percent of each organization's score is based on confidential employee feedback from the globally recognized Trust Index® Survey. The remaining twenty-five percent is based on the quality, quantity and effectiveness of the programs and policies which support their employees and corporate culture.
Baxter is proud to announce the company was also named on the 2022 list of Best Workplaces™ for Hybrid Work. To be eligible for this list, organizations must be Great Place to Work- Certified™ in the past 12 months and must complete a hybrid work questionnaire. Great Place to Work® determined the BEST based on employee responses to their Hybrid Work Readiness Index and organizational workplace programs and practices that support and enable hybrid work.
"Baxter's mission to save and sustain lives unites our employees personally and professionally," says Rehana Doobay, Director of Human Resources, Baxter Canada. “With our various development opportunities and local community engagement programs, we are committed to providing employees with meaningful ways to fulfill their career and our mission.
